Midweek MLS Madness: So they did realize games could be on other days

Hey the MLS remembered midweek games! Hooray! But no Revs!? Boo! With a chance to put the MLS+ subscription to work I chose…the free Union/DC United game. BUT a chance to scout the Revs’ next opponents and see more of a Wayne Rooney-led team as the reality continues to exist where he makes a spectacular homecoming to the real United and delivers us to the heights of Sir Alex—OK I’ll stop now.

Saturday night, then, was a great night for adding points to the board. Forget for a minute that the second half nearly went down as the most forgettable of the season so far—when the final whistle blew, the Revs held a 2-1 decision in their hands against a Sporting Kansas City side that, albeit reeling, is still a club with great heritage. On a night with so much rotation, all that matters is the points
