Manchester United at Nottingham Forrest, Matchweek 30: Road wins cure table-watching woes

United 2, Forrest 0 isn’t a scoreline that should surprise but with the way things have been going there’s no guarantee of anything. Road win, clean sheet, Maguire/Lindelof hold it together…just what you want to see.

Spilling out a few quick thoughts:

  • Antony was worth the money. That’s it. Just a reminder
  • I will not get excited about Martial…I will not get excited about Martial…I will not get excited about Martial…
  • Dalot is fun to watch when he gets the ball and starts moving foward. Ten Hag isn’t reinventing the wheel using a fullback as a midfielder, but Dalot makes it look so nice. So does Luke Shaw. It’s great when they can play together.
  • Ice Man cometh back and gets a clean sheet! No comment on Harry’s yellow so early and the non-penalty. Just gonna pretend I didn’t see ’em
  • Vital 3 points on a weekend that Tottenham and Newcastle drop some.
